Information We Collect Directly from You

Information you submit directly to us through our Services may include:

  • Order details: including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment confirmation, email address, and phone number.

3. How We Use Your Personal Data

  • Providing Products and Services: We use your personal data to provide you with the Services in performance of our contract with you, including processing your payments, fulfilling your orders, sending notifications related to your account, purchases, returns, exchanges, or other transactions, creating, maintaining, and otherwise managing your account, arranging for shipping, facilitating returns and exchanges, and enabling other features and functionalities related to your account. We may also enhance your shopping experience by enabling Shopify to match your account with other Shopify services you might wish to use. In this case, Shopify processes your data as set out in Shopify's Privacy Policy and Consumer Privacy Policy.

  • Marketing and Advertising: We will only send you marketing, advertising, and promotional communications (for example, by email) if you have actively consented to this, for example by checking the relevant box when subscribing to our newsletter. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw this consent at any time free of charge via the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.

  • Personalized Ads: To display personalized advertisements based on your behavior on our Site and other websites, we request your prior consent via our cookie banner, pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. See Section 6 for more details on the tracking technologies we use for this purpose.

  • Security and Fraud Prevention: We use your personal data to detect, investigate, or take action regarding potential fraudulent, illegal, or malicious activity. If you choose to use the Services and register an account, you are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. We strongly recommend that you do not share your username, password, or other access details with anyone else. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately. If you are a resident of the EEA, the legal basis for these processing activities is our legitimate interest in keeping our website secure for you and other customers, under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

  • Consent: For cookies and similar tracking technologies that are not strictly necessary, pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. For visitors in Germany, the consent requirement for these technologies also applies pursuant to § 25 TDDDG (Telecommunications Telemedia Data Protection Act), and for visitors in the Netherlands pursuant to Article 11.7a of the Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet).

  • Legitimate Interest: For security, fraud prevention, and website optimization.

Specific information about the cookies we use related to powering our store with Shopify can be found at https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies by default, but you can adjust your browser settings to remove or reject cookies. Please keep in mind that removing or blocking cookies can negatively impact your user experience.

9. Data Retention

We do not retain your personal data for longer than necessary:

  • Order and Invoice Data: 7 years following the financial year in which the transaction took place, in accordance with Dutch statutory tax retention obligations.

  • Account Data: As long as your account is active, and up to 2 years after the last activity if the account is not actively deleted.

  • Data Collected Based on Consent (newsletter subscription, cookies, and tracking technologies): Until the moment you withdraw your consent.

  • Customer Support Communications: A maximum of 2 years after the handling of the request.

10. Data Security

We have implemented technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access, and misuse, including SSL encryption for secure communication, secure storage with reputable parties such as Shopify, and restricting access to authorized personnel. Please note that no security measure is completely impenetrable.

11. Children's Data

The Services are not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data about children. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with personal data, you may contact us to request its deletion.

12. International Users

Please note that we may transfer, store, and process your personal data outside the country in which you live. If we transfer your personal data outside of Europe, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, unless the data is transferred to a country that provides an adequate level of protection.
